Hi! I am Shyra!
I am a multi-passionate, creative entrepreneur whose work spans weddings, events, content creation, design, marketing, branding, and more. I am originally from Edmonton but am now located on the beautiful shores of Prince Edward Island. I have been planning weddings and events for the past 15 years and I've loved every second of it! Creating authentic experiences is truly a life-long passion.
When I am not working you can find me trying to be an at-home barista, playing with my pupper Keira, redesigning my home, and traveling around the globe with the co-founder/my partner Derrick and our daughter.

Derrick Wells
Hey guys, I’m Derrick, co-creator of Humble Love Weddings.
I am originally from Prince Edward Island, but have spent the last 16 years living in Edmonton. My partner and I have recently moved back home to the beautiful south shore of PEI. My career in the hotel and hospitality industry spans over 20 years, during which I've orchestrated hundreds of events and weddings of all types and sizes. There's nothing I love more than planning the logistics of an event and seeing it all come together – it's truly my passion.

When I'm not working, you'll likely find me sipping on a nice glass of wine or, even better, a local craft beer. I love spending quality time with our dog 'Keira the Heeler' and my daughter. And when the opportunity arises, I'm always up for exploring new corners of the globe.
